Pastor Steven Carne

Steven was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California from 1974 to 1993, when he then moved to Northern California to study political science at Humboldt State University.  It was at Humboldt where Steven was introduced to the gospel. Shortly thereafter he laid down his rebellion and joyfully embraced Christ as his redeemer and Lord. Upon graduation in 1997 he married his high school sweetheart, Allegra North and the two moved to Durham, North Carolina in order to pursue graduate work in international security at Duke University. Upon graduating in 1999, Steven turned away (or was turned away) from career opportunities in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), to follow God’s call on his life to minister and shepherd. While studying at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Steven served as an Associate Pastor at Cresset Baptist Church, Durham, NC and Mid-Way Baptist Church, Raleigh NC. Upon graduating from Seminary with his M.Div. Steven accepted the call to pastor Drakes Branch Baptist Church in February 2006 where he endeavors to live a life of joyful sacrifice and passionate obedience that God may be displayed as glorious, righteous and worthy.

Pastor Adam Blosser

Adam began serving as the Pastor of Children's Ministry and Outreach at Drakes Branch Baptist Church in May of 2009. Adam, a follower of Christ since third grade, is a graduate of Liberty University with a B.A. in Pastoral Leadership and Biblical Exposition and is currently pursuing a M.Div. at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Adam loves the ministry that God has called him to at Drakes Branch Baptist Church as he seeks to see the name of our God made great both in Charlotte County and around this world.
